Terms & Conditions of Double Shot Rewards®

These terms govern your participation in the Double Shot programme, administered by Retail Loyalty Limited (Double Shot).

01—Membership

Membership of the Double Shot Rewards® programme is free.

Only individuals may be Members. Any individual who wishes to become a Member must agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as varied from time to time.

Double Shot may terminate a membership of the Double Shot programme, without notice and for any reason, including if the Member;

  • fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions; or

  • supplies any misleading information or makes any misrepresentations to Double Shot or to any participating establishment in connection with the Double Shot programme; or

  • abuses any privilege accorded to the Member under the Double Shot programme; or

  • does not use their app for a period of 6 months; or

  • dies or becomes bankrupt.

A Member may at any time terminate their membership by giving written notice to Double Shot, either directly or through the reward web portal or app.

02—Collecting Points

Points will be recorded in a Members points record for purchases by the Member, of qualifying goods from a participating establishment.

Double Shot and the participating establishments will from time to time determine which goods are qualifying goods and the number of points that will be recorded in a Members points record for such purchases.

A Member must, in order to receive points, notify the establishment before the transaction is concluded that the transaction is a Double Shot transaction, by presenting the membership code on the app.

Disputes about the Points Summary must be notified to Double Shot. Double Shots decision on any such dispute is final and binding.

Double Shot reserves the right to refuse app registration or to issue points at any time.

Double Shot will not record points given by Cafes and Restaurants after they have ceased to be participants in the Double Shot programme.

The App cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer or discount.

Double Shot reserves the right to amend these conditions from time to time.

03—Claiming a Reward

A Member who has recorded sufficient points in their points record may request a reward.

Requests must be made by the Member personally. A Member must, in order to redeem points, notify the establishment before the transaction is concluded that the transaction is a Double Shot transaction, by presenting the membership code on the app.

Furthermore points cannot be earned on a transaction when claiming a reward.

04—Deduction of Points

The number of points set out in the then current points schedule for a reward claimed will be deducted from the points balance of the Members points record, with the oldest points being deducted first. Double Shot may also deduct from the points balance in a Members points record:

  • any points recorded in error; and

  • any points relating to a transaction which is cancelled or where a refund is given; and

  • any points which are not used by a Member to claim a reward within 6 months after the end of the month in which the points were recorded. These will expire and be deducted from the points balance in a Members points record.
